The main aim of student counselling is to assist students in their growth process. Students get to explore a range of coping strategies, enabling them to deal with the problems they face now and in the future and become fully functioning members of society. It promotes personal, social, educational and career development in all students. Remedial education sessions are held with students as required after an assessment by the teachers and counsellors.
The counselling department conducts age-appropriate sessions with students on topics such as:
- Good touch and bad touch
- Orientation to body changes
- Gender education
It also conducts sessions with parents and teachers on specific concerns about their children.
