Reva Dhillon

I have been a Merit Award Winner for the past 5 years. I am a topper in the Pace challenge associated with the Times of India NIE, I have had articles written by me publish in prominent newspapers and won the students of the year Award given by the Times of India NIE.
For the years that I have spent in Universal High School Malad, I have always felt comfortable and at home. All the caretakers and teachers have been warm, reliable and welcoming.
The School environment is amazing. My teachers have always encouraged me and been open to any doubt I had. They have always been ready to help me, guide me and push me towards perfection. The school also trains us in a wide range of sports which has increased my confidence and stamina. My school and my teachers have ensured that I will move out into the world as a strong, capable and independent individual and for that I am eternally grateful.
The numerous interschool and intra-school competitions have increased my knowledge and the ability to express myself exponentially. No other place makes studying so interesting and enjoyable.

Thank you Universal High!

I have secured Gold Medal in 800 Metres and Bronze Medal in 1500 Metres in AISM Athletic Championship – 2018 & Secured Second Position in Medley Relay in Mumbai Suburban District Athletics Association.

Proud to be a part of Universal High School – Malad. I joined this institution in 2008 as a student of Grade 1 and it has been 10 wonderful years of my life in this school. I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for my teachers for their constant support and also for nurturing my hidden talents.

My school believes in holistic development of a child. They have been a constant pillar of support in grooming my talent and building confidence in me.

I was training for gymnastics post school hours but I could strike a balance in both academics and sports with the support of my teachers and Principal. Thanks for their help I could Excel in sports as well as academics.

Chasing project deadlines, finishing homework or keeping up with studies was never strenuous since I had an excellent support of my teachers.

Balancing academics and sports was easy since I was constantly assisted by my teachers and provided with flexible arrangements in matters related to examinations and school timings. By striking this balance I have learnt excellent time management skills, a burning desire to work hard and an ability to sacrifice to achieve success.

My talent in sports was spotted by my Ms. Ashwini when I was in Grade 7. She convinced my mom to enroll me into sports at a very young age.

My sports teachers Mr. Anand and Mr. Balakrishnan have also encouraged me to excel in sports.

Even if I missed on the classes, my teachers and friends ensured that I was aware of all the necessary school activities, which helped me in remaining active on the academic arena too.

There is always a very nice and happy environment at school and the staff is very caring and helpful.

A major credit goes to my Ex-Principal Ms. Zarin Virji and my current Principal Mr. Dilip Kamble for believing in me and for accepting my sports activities at par with academics.

Balancing sports and academics is difficult but it is possible. And it is totally worth it!

Lastly would sum it up – “My school is awesome and the best”.
