“Fill your plate with the colours of the rainbow. What pleases the eye pleases the body.”
As a part of our CEE Theme - “Healthy Living”, and Theme of the Year - “Health and Wellbeing”, Students of Universal High School prepared a tasty and healthy salad for themselves using colourful vegetables and fruits. This activity helped the students develop taste and know the benefits of healthy food. The varieties of platters prepared by the students were scrumptious. It was a fun-filled and exciting experience for the students.

Our Nursery students had a great learning experience at the Fire station. Students could practically see how firefighters help the community in case of emergencies. A small mock fire session was conducted to show how fire is extinguished with the help of a fire engine and hose pipe.

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
We organised a yoga session for the students. The students were introduced to different yoga poses by organising a game- Roll a Dice- where they were asked to show the yoga pose displayed on the dice by rolling it. This activity helped the students to know the significance of a happy soul, a fresh mind, and a healthy body. The active participation of the students overwhelmed the atmosphere.

"Be the change you wish to see in this world."
Waste Management is an essential part of protecting our environment. The initiative of CEE was introduced to the children through Powerpoint presentations and discussions. Students understood how to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Encouraged them to reuse items, explained the importance of recycling, showed them which items can be recycled and explained the importance of properly disposing of hazardous materials. Children, too, came up with ideas and suggestions, making it a fun-filled session.

As a part of our CEE Theme - “Healthy Living”, and Theme of the Year “Health and Wellbeing”, an excellent interactive session was conducted by Dr Kalpa Shah, a Homeopathy doctor who also holds a Master’s degree in Neuro Linguistic Programming and Gestalt therapy. She led various activities with students. These activities helped the students assimilate the importance of living a healthy lifestyle through good food habits and a disciplined lifestyle to stay fit and fine.

Education and awareness play a huge role in the conservation of water. However, action is required to make a difference. It’s time to take action. With the help of colourful posters, Students of Universal High School raised awareness of water conservation throughout the school campus with the slogan “Save Water, Save Earth”. Around 125 children participated in the rally, marched around the school campus, and expressed their thoughts about the importance and ways of saving water. Students visited different classrooms and expressed their views, and enlightened others. We all must try to save our planet Earth by conserving water.
